What happens when a submission is processing?

An overview of the five stages your data goes through after you submit it to Jarvis.

Updated yesterday

Once Jarvis accepts your file, processing happens in the background. Here's the journey your data goes through:

  1. Format check: Jarvis verifies the file looks correct (if not, it's refused immediately)

  2. Data set validation: Jarvis checks for structural issues across the whole file (if problems are found, the submission is Rejected)

  3. Safety checks: For contributions, Jarvis looks for potential duplicates or anomalies (if found, the submission is put On Hold for your review)

  4. Record processing: Each record is processed individually. Some may succeed while others fail

  5. Verification: Jarvis confirms all records have been processed and financial transactions are in order

The final status will be Completed (all records succeeded), Completed with Errors (some records failed), or in rare cases, Investigating (our team will look into it).
