How to transfer your Jarvis pension to another provider

Jarvis makes the process simple and straightforward, whether you're moving your pension to us or from us. We believe you should have full control over your retirement savings, and that includes the freedom to choose the pension provider that best suits your needs.

How to transfer: This section covers both transferring pensions TO and FROM Jarvis.

Transferring Pensions Into Jarvis

To transfer a pension into Jarvis, you will need the following information:

Additionally, having a policy number does not necessarily mean that funds have been contributed to your account. Contributions must be made by your employer before funds are available for transfer.

  1. Policy Number: The policy number of the pension you wish to transfer.

  2. Estimated Amount: The estimated amount currently held in the pension.3. Policy Number Format: Ensure you use the full policy reference format, prefixed with 'JARVS-[POLICY_NUMBER]', for accurate processing.

Steps:

  1. Open the Jarvis app and navigate to the pension transfer section.

  2. Submit a transfer request by providing the required information (policy number and estimated amount).

  3. Once the request is submitted, Jarvis will handle the transfer process on your behalf.


Transferring your pension FROM Jarvis is easy. You will need to do the following:

  1. Inform your new provider of your intention to transfer, and they will initiate the transfer request, through the platform Origo.

  2. Inform your new provider that Jarvis' name on Origo is Seccl Custody

  3. Provide your new provider with your Jarvis policy number and ensure it is prefixed with 'JARVS-[POLICY_NUMBER]' for accurate processing.


How to find your policy number:

Please log in to the Jarvis app/website to retrieve your Policy Number. Once you’re logged in, follow these quick steps:

  1. Download and log in to the Jarvis app.

  2. Connect to your employer using the employer connection link provided by your employer or HR.

  3. Tap the menu (☰) in the top corner.

  4. Navigate to Documents → Statements.

  5. Tap Request a Statement.

  6. After a few seconds, a new Valuation Statement will appear.

  7. Open the statement to find your policy number listed there. If you do not have a policy number, it is likely because your employer has not completed your enrollment into the Jarvis pension scheme. Contact your employer or HR department to ensure your enrollment is completed.


I can't see my downloads:

If you are using Apple, it can be hard to find your downloads. Here's what you need to do:

  1. Click to download your statement

  2. This will open up Safari and you'll see 'Download'

  3. Once you click this, you'll see a blue downward arrow pop up on the left of your screen - click on this arrow

  4. Then click on 'Downloads' and you'll be able to open the downloaded file
