You can postpone auto-enrolment assessment for new employees by up to 3 months from their start date.
During postponement, the employee is not assessed or enrolled. You must write to them within 6 weeks of their start date.
On the portal: Set the assessment date to the end of the postponement period when enrolling via CSV.
Important: Employees can choose to opt in during postponement. If they do, you must enrol them at the next pay period.
